Operator, scope and contact
The contracting operator is Eitan Goren (איתן גורן), operating under the name Mealz, as an individual in Israel, not an incorporated company. The official contact method for service, privacy requests and notices is email only: eitangoren08@gmail.com. No physical business or residential address is published. Designating email as the contact method does not represent that every statutory disclosure or service requirement is satisfied for every type of transaction.
Professional registration and license review
The beta is restricted to adults aged 18 or above. Onboarding requires an explicit declaration that you are at least 18; without it the server rejects registration. This is self-declaration, not identity-document or birth-date verification. Minors may not join, including through a parent or guardian account. The beta is for approved dietitians. Applications contain a name, verified email, professional license number, clinic/business name, phone and explicit version-specific document acceptance. Google or email sign-in does not itself grant professional permissions. Applications remain pending until the platform owner reviews the details and approves activation; credentials remain unverified until that point. Approval does not replace valid licensing, the duty to update details or professional judgment.
Professional responsibility and Connect scope
Connect supports consent-based patient connections, review of nutrition logs and history, weekly reports, edited and approved feedback, and goal updates when authorized. Dietitians must assess the information and AI limitations before professional use, obtain required permissions and maintain professional records under applicable duties. The beta does not automatically grant Clinic Pro or alter existing clinic rights. Existing clinical accounts may separately include visits, tests, documents and appointment calendars.
Free beta with no automatic paid renewal
The professional beta is free for 90 days from the platform owner’s approval and activation of the dietitian, rather than application submission. No credit card or payment authorization is required. Expiry does not create a paid subscription, trigger a charge or constitute consent to future payment. Any future paid plan requires a separate agreement and explicit payment authorization. Founder Unlimited is a separate free override that can expire, be suspended or revoked; it does not remove security or safety controls.
AI analysis and professional judgment
Meal analysis estimates calories, nutrients and food characteristics from an image or description. Estimates may be incomplete or wrong and must not be relied on alone for diagnosis, treatment, medication adjustments or medical decisions. Images and descriptions may be sent to an external AI provider; some analyses also use web search. Longitudinal summaries support professional review, and patient feedback is sent through the dietitian’s editing and approval workflow. This is not an emergency service and does not promise continuous monitoring or a particular response time.
Terms acceptance and sharing consent are separate choices
Accepting these Terms and acknowledging the Privacy Policy does not consent to sharing health information with a dietitian. Sharing is a separate process involving a professional-bound invitation, selection of information categories and the patient’s explicit approval. Professional goal updates require the additional authorization requested by the interface. Sharing can be revoked in the account. Revocation stops new access through that connection but does not erase the personal journal, delivered feedback or copies previously viewed or lawfully retained.
Allowances, availability and beta changes
Default allowances are 10 active connected patients per dietitian, 8 new meal analyses per patient per day and 10 professional AI report generations per week. Quota days reset at 00:00 UTC and weeks start Monday at 00:00 UTC. Repeating the same operation should not consume the allowance twice, while AI-provider attempts remain subject to safety limits. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability, a particular outcome or a fixed incident-response time. Material terms changes require a new published version; any required renewed acceptance is not recorded using a preselected checkbox.
Suspension, termination and retained history
The platform owner can approve, reject, suspend, extend or terminate beta access in accordance with eligibility, consent and service protection. When eligibility ends, new invitations and new professional operations requiring eligibility or quota stop. Accounts, records, meals and history are not automatically deleted because beta access ends. Patients can review their existing information and revoke sharing; new AI analysis may require an active eligible professional connection. Existing clinical rights independent of the beta are not automatically changed.
Accounts, acceptable use and content
Provide accurate information, protect sign-in credentials, report suspected unauthorized use and upload only information you are authorized to process. Do not bypass permissions or quotas, conduct abnormal automated use, give an invitation to another person or attempt to access another patient’s or clinic’s data. Users retain their rights in uploaded content; a limited permission to store, display and process it is granted for operating the service, including AI processing and patient-selected sharing. This document does not authorize advertising use of health data. The adult-only eligibility rule above applies.
Rights, responsibility, changes and contact
These Terms do not limit non-waivable rights or statutory professional duties and do not establish a blanket liability waiver. Israeli law applies subject to mandatory law, including mandatory jurisdiction rules. A version change does not erase earlier acceptance records. Contact eitangoren08@gmail.com about the service, access, correction or a deletion request. Do not email passwords or unnecessary health information. Requests are handled manually after identity and scope verification, considering applicable duties and separately held clinic records. There is no complete self-service patient-account deletion process, fixed cloud deletion schedule or guaranteed deletion deadline; statutory rights and deadlines remain applicable.
